| Disney’s Coco took in $2.001 M on Wednesday to top the daily box office for an eighth consecutive day. Coco was down a sharp 39.4 percent from Tuesday and down a very sharp, but
understandable 84.8 percent from last Wednesday’s opening day performance. In the bigger picture, Coco continues to perform well with an eight-day start of $80.536 M. That places Coco 9.5 percent ahead of the
$73.534 M eight-day take of 2010’s Tangled and just 10.1 percent behind the $89.583 M eight-day launch of last year’s Moana. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend gross of $28.5 M for Coco. |
| Warner’s Justice League held steady in a close second with $1.902 M. That represented a 35.7 percent decline from Tuesday and a very sharp 81.8 percent decrease from last Wednesday’s inflated
pre-Thanksgiving gross. The thirteen-day total for Justice League stands at a softer than expected $178.869 M. Justice League is running an underwhelming 24.8 percent behind the $238.003 M thirteen-day haul of
last year’s Suicide Squad. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that Justice League will gross $15.7 M in its third weekend. |
| Lionsgate’s Wonder grossed $1.254 M to remain in third place. Wonder was down 35.2 percent from Tuesday and down 79.2 percent from last Wednesday. Wonder continues to exceed
expectations with an impressive thirteen-day gross of $74.220 M. That places Wonder 7.6 percent ahead of the $68.955 M thirteen-day start of 2008’s Bolt and 30.5 percent behind the $106.747 M thirteen-day take of
2009’s The Blind Side. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a third weekend gross of $12.8 M for Wonder. |
| Disney’s Thor: Ragnarok was up one spot from Tuesday to move back into fourth place on Wednesday with $920 K. Thor: Ragnarok declined a slim 20.5 percent from Tuesday and 77.2 percent from
last Wednesday. The 27-day total for Thor: Ragnarok stands at a mighty $280.599 M, which leaves the film $19.401 M away from reaching the $300 M domestic milestone. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a fifth weekend take of

| Fox’s Murder on the Orient Express was down one spot from Tuesday to round out Wednesday’s top five with $824 K. Murder on the Orient Express decreased a solid 30.6 percent from Tuesday and
67.7 percent from last Wednesday. The 20-day total for Murder on the Orient Express stands at a stronger than expected $77.221 M. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that Murder on the Orient Express will gross
$7.6 M during its fourth weekend. |
