Lionsgate’s The Hitman’s Bodyguard grossed $635 K on Wednesday to lead the daily box office for a 20th straight day. The Hitman’s Bodyguard declined 31.1 percent from Tuesday and a solid 39.4 percent from last Wednesday. The Hitman’s Bodyguard is on the verge of reaching the $60 M domestic mark with a 20-day gross of $59.523 M. That places the film essentially on par with the $59.493 M 20-day haul of 2014’s Let’s Be Cops (which opened on a Wednesday). BoxOfficeReport is predicting a fourth weekend take of $5.1 M for The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

The Weinstein Company’s Wind River held steady in second place with $496 K. Wind River was down 22.3 percent from Tuesday and down a very slim 4.7 percent from last Wednesday. The 34-day total for Wind River stands at $21.405 M, which places the film 4.1 percent ahead of the $20.558 M 34-day take of last year’s Hell or High Water. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that Wind River will place in fifth this weekend with $3.5 M.

Warner’s Annabelle: Creation grossed $461 K to remain in third. Annabelle: Creation decreased 27.3 percent from Tuesday and a very solid 37.8 percent from last Wednesday. Annabelle: Creation has grossed a stronger than expected $91.961 M in 27 days. The film is running 14.6 percent ahead of the $80.256 M 27-day gross of 2014’s Annabelle. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a fifth weekend take of $3.6 M for Annabelle: Creation.

Warner’s Dunkirk was up one spot from Tuesday to place in fourth on Wednesday with $325 K. Dunkirk declined just 12.3 percent from Tuesday and 35.5 percent from last Wednesday. Dunkirk has grossed a strong $180.900 M through 48 days of release.

Bleecker Street and Fingerprint Releasing’s Logan Lucky was down one spot from Tuesday to round out Wednesday’s top five with $265 K. Logan Lucky was down 33.3 percent from Tuesday and down 42.7 percent from last Wednesday. The 20-day total for Logan Lucky stands at a softer than expected $23.166 M.
