down 33.2 percent from Tuesday and down a respectable 47.2 percent from last Wednesday. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has grossed a strong $263.041 M in thirteen days. That places the film 36.1 percent ahead of the
$193.319 M 13-day take of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and 11.9 percent behind the $298.595 M 13-day haul of 2013’s Iron Man 3. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will
finish in a close second place this weekend with $37.0 M. |
Fox’s Snatched held steady in second place with $1.215 M. Snatched declined a sizable 37.5 percent from Tuesday’s performance. Snatched continues to perform towards the higher end
of expectations with a six-day take of $24.112 M. The film is running 41.5 percent ahead of the $17.036 M six-day gross of 2015’s Hot Pursuit and 41.4 percent behind the $41.134 M six-day start of 2015’s Trainwreck.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast rounded out Wednesday’s unchanged top five with $283 K. Beauty and the Beast declined 26.2 percent from Tuesday and just 24.9 percent from last Wednesday.
