
| Focus’ Downton Abbey grossed $2.901 million on Wednesday to top the daily box office for a sixth consecutive day. After experiencing a modest increase on Tuesday, Downton Abbey held up very nicely
on Wednesday by declining just 30.0 percent from the previous day. Downton Abbey passed the $40 million domestic mark yesterday and has grossed a stronger than expected $41.368 million through six days of release. That places
the film 20.6 percent ahead of the $34.310 million grossed by Rocketman through its first six days earlier this year. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend take of $16.3 million for Downton Abbey. |
| STXfilms’ Hustlers held steady in second place with $1.446 million. Hustlers declined 40.9 percent from Tuesday and a respectable 45.1 percent from last Wednesday. The thirteen-day total for the
modestly budgeted Hustlers stands at a stronger than expected $67.707 million. Hustlers is running 17.1 percent ahead of the $57.838 million thirteen-day take of 2016’s Bad Moms. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that
Hustlers will gross $9.8 million in its third weekend. |
| Disney and Fox’s Ad Astra grossed $1.365 million to remain in third. Ad Astra was down 39.4 percent from Tuesday’s performance. The Brad-Pitt-led film has grossed $24.142 million in six days, which
is towards the higher end of expectations. Ad Astra is running 18.6 percent ahead of the $20.361 million six-day start of last year’s First Man. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend gross of $10.8 million for

| Lionsgate’s Rambo: Last Blood took in $1.136 million to continue to claim fourth. The fifth installment of the Sylvester Stallone-led film series was down a concerning 46.6 percent from Tuesday.
Rambo: Last Blood has grossed $23.526 million in six days, which is towards the lower end of expectations. Rambo: Last Blood is running 7.7 percent ahead of the $21.839 million six-day haul of 2008’s Rambo. BoxOfficeReport is

| Warner and New Line’s IT Chapter Two rounded out the unchanged daily top five with $972,271. That was down 37.3 percent from Tuesday and down a sharp 50.7 percent from last Wednesday.
IT Chapter Two has grossed a healthy $182.572 million in 20 days, but is also running a significant 32.9 percent behind the $272.214 million 20-day gross of 2017’s IT. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a fourth weekend haul
