By Daniel Garris

Disney’s Captain Marvel grossed $8.59 million on Wednesday to lead the daily box office for a sixth consecutive day. That represented a sizable, but reasonable, 41.4 percent decline from Tuesday’s strong performance. The six-day start for Captain Marvel stands at an exceptional $187.65 million. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend take of $73.0 million for Captain Marvel.
