Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation was down a very sharp 44.4 percent on Wednesday. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation passed the $60 million domestic mark yesterday and has grossed $63.606 million after six days
of release. With the aid of stronger midweek summer grosses, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation is running a healthy 14.1 percent ahead of the $55.754 million six-day start of 2015’s Hotel Transylvania 2.

| Disney’s Ant-Man and The Wasp held steady in second place with $3.350 million. Ant-Man and The Wasp declined 39.2 percent from Tuesday and a solid 42.8 percent from last Wednesday. The
thirteen-day total for Ant-Man and The Wasp stands at $145.506 million. That places the film 24.6 percent ahead of the $116.814 million thirteen-day total of 2015’s Ant-Man. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that
Ant-Man and The Wasp will bring in $15.7 million in its third weekend. |
| Universal and Legendary’s Skyscraper took in $2.329 million to remain in third place. That represented a sharp 43.1 percent decrease from Tuesday’s performance. Skyscraper continues to perform
below expectations with a six-day launch of $33.892 million. The film is running 22.4 percent behind the recent $43.656 million six-day start of fellow Dwayne Johnson vehicle Rampage. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second
weekend gross of $12.2 million for Skyscraper. |
| Disney’s Incredibles 2 and Universal’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom claimed fourth and fifth place with respective daily grosses of $2.204 million and $2.011 million. Incredibles 2 was down
35.4 percent from Tuesday and down 39.0 percent from last Wednesday, while Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom declined 32.7 percent from Tuesday and 38.0 percent from last Wednesday. Respective total grosses stand at
$543.722 million for Incredibles 2 in 34 days and at $371.041 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 27 days. BoxOfficeReport is predicting weekend grosses of $11.2 million for Incredibles 2 and
$10.2 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. |
