Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle took first place on Monday with $761 K. That represented a 63.7 percent decline from Sunday’s deflated performance against Super Bowl LII and a slim 16.2 percent decrease from last Monday. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has grossed $353.334 M through 48 days of release. That currently ranks the film in fifth place among all 2017 releases domestically and gives the film an exceptional total gross to opening weekend ratio of 9.77 to 1.

That is slightly ahead of expectations, but still places the film 22.9 percent behind the $52.834 M eleven-day haul of 2015’s Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.

Lionsgate and CBS Films’ Winchester placed in a close third with $697 K. Winchester was down just 55.0 percent from Sunday’s deflated performance. The film passed the $10 M domestic mark yesterday and has grossed $10.004 M in four days. Winchester is running in line with its modest expectations and 27.0 percent behind the $13.709 M four-day launch of last year’s Rings over the same time frame.

Fox’s The Greatest Showman claimed fourth place with $627 K. The Greatest Showman declined 54.6 percent from Sunday and a very slim 11.2 percent from last Monday, as the film continues to display tremendous holding power.
