Poetry by Daniel Garris - Cinema Poem 2 |

Memories of the memories in our youth
May time not find the means to replace
Regardless of what was fantasy or truth
What better than to run around and goof
When thought, society views in disgrace
Memories of the memories in our youth
Together we stand in one endless loop
So surreal the nation's talking face
Regardless of what was fantasy or truth
In love and life we are still uncouth
Nevertheless THEY will do all to erase
Memories of the memories in our youth
Such innocence the past leaves as proof
Even if it was never really the case
Regardless of what was fantasy or truth
At the silent seashore standing aloof
In the changing season you stop to trace
Memories of the memories in our youth
Regardless of what was fantasy or truth
