1. When entering the opening weekend figure, do not use a "$" with the opening figure, for doing so will cause an error in the JavaScript.
2. Staying Power is determined by the following simple equation: 1.0 - (the average weekly drop-off rate for the film in question). For example, if the average drop off rate of a film is 30%, then .70 would be entered into the Staying Power field.
3. The weekday factor measures the amount of money made by a film in the 4 weekdays, prior to its 3-day weekend. It is determined by adding a film's weekday total to its weekend total and then by dividing the sum by the weekend total. For example, if a film makes $5 million over its 4-day weekday period, and $10 million over the following weekend, that film would have a weekday factor of 1.5. The weekday factor varies from film to film, but even more so from season to season. For the vast majority of the year, the weekday factor for a film will range between 1.3 and 1.6. However, during the months of June and July, and during the period between Christmas and New Year's Day, the weekday factor will usually range between 1.6 - 2.0.
