down a solid 42.1 percent from last Monday. The Hitman’s Bodyguard passed the $40 M domestic mark yesterday and has grossed a stronger than expected $40.959 M in eleven days. That places the film 45.1 percent ahead
of the $28.229 M eleven-day take of War Dogs at this time last August. |
Warner’s Annabelle: Creation claimed second place with $869 K. Annabelle: Creation declined 62.9 percent from Sunday and a respectable 46.6 percent from last Monday. The 18-day total
for Annabelle: Creation stands at a stronger than expected $79.080 M. Annabelle: Creation is running 6.0 percent ahead of the $74.624 M 18-day take of 2014’s Annabelle. |
The Weinstein Company’s Wind River placed in third with $526 K. Wind River decreased 61.5 percent from Sunday and increased 96.4 percent over last Monday when the film was playing in a
moderate 694 locations. Wind River has grossed $10.557 M in 25 days, which places the film 34.1 percent behind the $16.016 M 25-day gross of last year’s Hell or High Water. |
Bleecker Street and Fingerprint Releasing’s Logan Lucky took fourth place with $478 K. Logan Lucky was down 60.1 percent from Sunday and down just 28.0 percent from last Monday. The
eleven-day total for Logan Lucky stands at a softer than expected $15.387 M. Logan Lucky is running 23.5 percent behind the $20.129 M eleven-day take of 2013’s Side Effects. |
Warner’s Dunkirk followed very closely behind in fifth with $393 K. Dunkirk trailed Logan Lucky by a very slim $1,097 for the day. Dunkirk was down 58.0 percent from
Sunday and down only 27.2 percent from last Monday. Dunkirk has grossed an impressive $172.954 M in 39 days, which places the film 3.4 percent ahead of the $167.276 M grossed by 2014’s Interstellar
after 39 days of wide release. |
The Weinstein Company’s Leap! landed in sixth place for the day with $393 K. Leap! declined 69.4 percent from Sunday’s performance. The four-day start for Leap! stands at
$5.123 M, which is in line with the film’s modest expectations and 44.8 percent behind the recent $9.284 M four-day launch of The Nut Job 2. |
