Disney’s Beauty and the Beast grossed $6.296 M on Wednesday to easily lead the daily box office for a thirteenth consecutive day. Beauty and the Beast declined 33.5 percent form Tuesday and a solid 45.4 percent from last Wednesday. With a massive thirteen-day gross of $341.861 M, Beauty and the Beast currently ranks in 41st place on the all-time unadjusted domestic chart, as the film has now surpassed the $341.268 M final gross of last year’s Zootopia. Beauty and the Beast is running 66.0 percent ahead of the $205.916 M thirteen-day gross of last year’s The Jungle Book and 29.8 percent ahead of the $262.939 M thirteen-day take of 2012’s The Hunger Games. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a third weekend gross of $48.0 M for Beauty and the Beast.

Lionsgate’s Saban’s Power Rangers held steady in second with $2.090 M. However, Power Rangers was down a sharp 41.1 percent from Tuesday, which represented the day’s largest daily percentage decline for films in the top ten. Power Rangers continues to outpace expectations with $48.717 M in six days and is set to surpass the $50 M mark today. The film is currently running 10.6 percent ahead of the $44.053 M six-day start of last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (which decreased 36.5 percent on its first Wednesday to gross $2.290 M). BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend gross of $17.5 M for Saban’s Power Rangers.

Warner’s Kong: Skull Island took in $1.192 M to remain in third place. Kong: Skull Island decreased 31.4 percent from Tuesday and 43.4 percent from last Wednesday. The film has grossed a stronger than expected $137.946 M in 20 days. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a fourth weekend gross of $7.8 M for Kong: Skull Island.

Fox’s Logan was up one spot from Tuesday to move into fourth with $931 K. That represented a 24.9 percent decline from Tuesday and a 40.0 percent decline from last Wednesday. Logan is currently the second highest grossing release of 2017 so far domestically with a 27-day take of $204.792 M. BoxOfficeReport is predicting that Logan will gross $6.0 M this weekend.

Sony’s Life was down one spot and 35.9 percent from Tuesday to fall to fifth place on Wednesday with $926 K. Life has grossed a softer than expected $15.906 M in six days. That places the film 5.3 percent behind the $16.804 M six-day take of 2015’s Chappie (which decreased 31.1 percent on its first Wednesday to gross $962 K). BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend gross of $5.6 M for Life.

Universal’s Get Out placed in sixth on Wednesday with $786 K. In the process, Get Out surpassed the $150 M domestic mark yesterday. Get Out was down 23.0 percent from Tuesday and down just 36.4 percent from last Wednesday, as the film continues display very strong holding power. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a gross of $5.7 M for Get Out this weekend.

Meanwhile, Warner’s CHIPS finished in seventh for the day with $571 K. CHIPS fell 34.0 percent from Wednesday and is performing below its already modest expectations with a six-day take of $9.772 M. BoxOfficeReport is predicting a second weekend take of $3.8 M for CHIPS.
